The goal of Drama Club is to make live theater accessable to all children, to enable young people to gain an appreciation for the arts, and to increase self-confidence, self-esteem, and a sense of responsibility by providing an opportunity for children to participate in dramatic activities.
How Does it Work?
Children enroll in a 10 week workshop class based on age and performance experience. At the end of the workshop session students present classroom projects in the Drama Showcase. Students perform in their Drama Club T-shirts and use minimal props. Students who successfully complete a workshop session are eligible to audition for our Spring Musical designed exclusivly for students ages 4-18.
